We bring delicious, nutritious, sustainably-grown oysters harvested by local farmers to your office, neighborhood clubhouse, social club, or front door. Help us build a stronger and more sustainable ecosystem, community, and economy in southeastern NC by ordering oysters and/or volunteering your office, social club, or HOA clubhouse as a pick-up location!
How It Works
You sign up for a delivery or pick-up (or multiple deliveries/pick-ups via a subscription) of local oysters. We bring those oysters to one of our community pick-up partner locations or right to your doorstep (and you don't even have to be there when we deliver!). You experience a range of premium NC-farmed oysters, learn more about your local oyster farms and farmers, and feel good about supporting your local oyster farmers, ecosystems, and economy!
Our business is modeled after CSAs (= "Community Supported Agriculture") that operate in Wilmington and many other places around the US. CSAs usually partner with local land-based farmers to bring their harvests to nearby communities. Since we're ocean lovers and aquaculture enthusiasts, we're bringing "Community Supported Aquaculture" to Wilmington to help our local oyster farming industry grow.
Our Mission
We started Raw Dog Oysters in Wilmington, NC in 2025 with a goal to help build the NC oyster farming industry by making it easy for the communities of coastal NC to access fresh locally-grown oysters.
In the process we hope to connect local residents with their local oyster farmers, support our local economy, and build a more sustainable local food system in Southeastern NC.
